Imagination has consumed me from the beginning. When I was younger I followed a lot of random paths. I was a lifeguard, a deckhand on a cruise ship, a journalist, a USFS Wilderness Ranger, a late-night pharmacy assistant, a private investigator, a stoneworker, a fishmonger at an Irish market, and a carpenter.

Eventually I came to focus on the things that propelled me to do all of that: imagination, creativity, ideas, and writing. Now I’m with Belyea, and I have to say that thinking about brand strategy and creative communication feels more natural to me than pools, ships, papers, trails, meds, cameras, rocks, fish, or two-by-fours ever did.
