My life revolves around my long-term husband, three daughters (two biological, one Japanese), a miniature dachshund and two cats. Plus two sewing machines and piles of quilting material.

My parents encouraged independence. Little did they know I would leave my home country of Canada and forge a life in the Land of Liberty.
Travel bug...
Japan has captivated my interest in recent years. Kyoto, filled with mystical and sacred sights, is a favorite city to bicycle around. Plus the Japanese people are always welcoming and generous.
Continuous evolvement...
Never one to sit still for long, I am involved with numerous clubs and groups. Right now learning about quilting with Piece Makers has become a bona fide obsession.
